  1. Dear Arc owner,

  3. For those of you who do not know what PlaceIt is here is a brief description.
  4. It allows files,directories and applications to be stuck to the background.
  5. From here they can be handled in exactly the same way as if they were in a
  6. filer window. A change directory icon may put on the background which allows
  7. the directory to be changed by dragging it into a filer window.
  8.  
  9. Additions in this version are provision for extension modules and the ability
  10. to select icons by dragging an area. The background sprite plotting has also
  11. been speeded (only really noticeable when the sprite has the current
  12. palette). See the !Help, Docs.History and Docs.Extensions files for more
  13. details.
